APPEAL AGAINST INJUNCTION, The City Council authorities have received advice as to the decision of the Court of Appeal on the Council's application for special leave to appeal against the judgment of Mr Justice Herdman granting the injunction prayed for in respect of the God'ey plot in Cathedral square. The salient point? of the decision of the Court of Appeal appeared in yesterday's issue or T*ns Phwjs. Amongst the business to come before the City Council at its meeting on Mondav next will be tho consideration of the doaision of. the Court of App ea l» and of the question whether or not tho Council will proceed with the appeal, respective of the proceedings this week before the Court of Appeal tn Wellington, the City CounciPs lesal expenses in connexion with the Cathedral square litigation amount to over £SOO.
