PROBATION OFFICER.
MRS GLOVER RETIRES. (PMSS ASSOCIATION TBLEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 17. After 22 years' service as Salvation Army Probation Officer in the Wellington Magistrate's Court, Mrs Brigadier Glover is retiring and will shortly leave for England, where she will spend some time with relatives before returning Few women or girls have come before the Magistrate's or Judges with whom Mrs Glover has not been asked to deal with, and in many instances they have been reclaimed with excellent results. A farewell was tendered to-night at which Mi Justice Blair, Mr Dallard (Director of Prisons), Magistrates, and others paid tribute to her excellent social work.
