Customs duties, other than duties on motor spirit and rubber tyres, collected at Dominion ports during the year ended March 31st, 1930, totalled £8,631,899 according to a report laid on the table of the House of Representatives to-day by the Prime Minis* ter, the Hon. G. W. Forbes. The total revenue collected by the Customs Department was £10,891,880. The cost of collection was £117,952, representing £1 Is per cent.
