PERSONAL. (SPECUI. TO . THE FKE3J.) OREYMOUTH, July 18. Mr A. Beban left yesterday for Christchurch. Miss Bita Glover, who has been spending the past six months in 'Wellington and Havelpck, has returned to her home in Bu Eu. Obituary. The death occurred yesterday of Mrs Elizabeth Mary Angus, wife of Captain Charles Angus, Greymouth. She was 60 years of age, a nativo of Greymouth, and a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Sheedy. She spent some year 3 in Western Australia before finally settling at Greymouth. She leaves, besides her husband, a step-son, Sydney Angus, three sisters, Mrs Martin (Greymouth), Sister Mary Cecilia (Christchurch), and Miss Kate Sheedy (Greymouth), and two brothers, Daniel (Perth), and E. M. Sheedy (Christchurch). The death occurred at the Westland Hospital yostorday of Mr Henry Leech, of Boss. He was aged 47, and was a nativo of Ballarat, Australia. Ho is survived by his widow, and three daughters. Hotel at Moana. Rebuilding operations of tho hotel destroyed some time ago have commenced. The structure, when completed will contain about 25 rooms, and occupying a frontage of 120 feet, it commands a good view of the lake. It was resolved that the chairman of the Works Committee, the Mayor, and Crs. King and Hcinz be a sub-committee to consider the question. Examination in Music.
