The Government's investigators are satisfied that the blaijie is not attached to the (ja)pnette Pasteur. Institute. It ia thought that either by accident or carelessness the cultures became polluted; The investigators are hampeied, as Professor Deyke. head of the Lubeck Hospital, threw nwa.v ail the preparations ready in the laboratory when the first infant died, as he wished to destroy o possible source of further harm ; but he forgot to pajl in supplies already in the hands of private physicians, who continued to administer them to infants. Professor Deyke'e conduct is the subject of a special investigation ordered bv the Public Prosecutor. —"The Times" Cable,
