CONCERT AT LINWOOD.
At the Linwood Methodist Church Hall an excellent concert was given in aid of the new church scheme. There was a large and appreciative audience. Items were contributed by the pupils of Miss Lucy Cowan and Madame Josephine Ottlee, vocal solos by Misses S. Angus, D. Philpott, Lancaster, Messrs Trevor Ritchie and Keith Sharp; trio by Misses E. Bond, 8. Angus, and 0. Philpott; -pianoforto solo by Miss Sherlock; «locutionary items by Mis* J. Anderson, Messrs Dick Wells and T. Rob son; humorous sketch, Misses N. Gillespie and E. Ruttwj banjo trio, Misses L. and M. Straw and B. Nicholas. Mrs Hodgson acted as accompanist.
