"THE GAMBLERS." To-day at the New Opera House will seo tho first showing of Warner Bros, and Vitaphone's sensational all-talking photo-play, "The Gamblers." It is said that this excellent production undoubtedly marks the most perfect attainment of tho talkie? screen to date. Dialogue, each word vital and telling (a transcript of the words of Charles Klein, whose drama of the sumo name was a great stage success), is recorded porfectly, and rendered perfectly by tho players Tho. all-star cast includes H. B. Warnor, Lois Wilson, Jason Robards, and other favourites of the screen and stage. "Tho Gamblers" holds the audience spellbound from start to finish. It is dramatic, colourful, and suffused with tense emotion. An excellent supporting programme will be presented, which includes Horlick's Gipsy Orchestra, which will be heard in a number of sparkling musical items: the "Dream Cafe," introducing clever vaudevillo turns; and the latest Universal talking newsreel. Tho box plans are open at The Bristol from 9 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. to-day, afterwards at tho Theatre.
