SHIPPING NOTES.

The Totara is now due to-day from VVMlinKton to load for New Plymouth. She sails via Wellington. The Karepo. which was due here to-day, will not call at this port. The Parera is due here to-morrow Irom Gisborne with cattle. She will take in cargo tor Waikokopu, Tolaga Bay, and Tokomaru Bay. The Buahine, which left Auckland on May 27th, arrived at Southampton on Tuesday, two days ahead of schedule. The Wlngatui should arrive to-day from Dunedin and Timaru, and loads for Auckland. She is to Bail on Monday via Wellington. The Progress in expected to-morrow from the south. She is to sail on Monday afternoon for Wellington. New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Kelcerangn, from Newcastle with coal, Is now due here on Wednesday. The Waikouaitl ie now to arrive •t-Lyttel. ton on Thursday from Newcastle and Sydney,.. The Katoa Is due here on Tuesday from Portland, Auckland, and Wellington. She will discharge cement and then load for Auckland. She is expected to sail about Wednesday lor Wellington,

The Himatangi is due on Thursday from Dunedin and Timtru. She loads for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kurow is expected here on Friday from Auckland and Wellington, and sails the same day for Dunedin and Timaru. The Walplata is expected at Lyttelton on Thursday from Bluff, Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru. She loads for Auckland, and sails via Wellington. The Tamaroa, which is loading here for London, is to sail about Monday or Tuesday for Fort Chalmers. The Orepuki is due to-morrow from Tarakohe. After discharging cement she will load for Nelson, Westport, and Greymouth. The Kuku should arrive here to-morrow from Nelson, and loads on Monday for the return trip. The Cygnet is to take in cargo here on Monday for Kaikoura and Wellington. The Breeze should arrive here on Tuesday from Timaru to load for Wellington and YVanganui. The Calm is due at Lyttelton on Friday from the south, and takes in cargo for Wellington and Wanganui, Tho motor-ship En ton was an arrival yesterday from Wellington. She has New York cargo for discharge to the A. and A. agency, and it is hoped to dispatch her to-day for Dunedin.

The Tairoa, which left Fort Chalmera on May 23rd, arrived at London on Wedneaday morning. She goes from London to Hull. Tha Ooptie, which left Wellington on J una 13th tor London and We«t Coast -ports of the United Kingdom, sailed Irom Colon on Tuesday. The Ruahine, which sailed from Auckland on May 27th, arrived at Southampton on Tuesday. Advice has been received that the flalsdale left Calcutta on June 28rd for Geraldton, where she will load a full cargo of jarrah for four New Zealand ports on account of the Millars' Timbers and Trading 00. The Shell Oil Company advise that the tanker Crenatula, 5508 tons, left Balikpapan on June -6th with a full cargo of bulk motorspirit for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. She ia due at Auckland on July 15th.
