N.Z. PRESS DELEGATES.
HIGH COMMISSIONER'S LUNCHEON. OCHTITBD FB2BB ASSOCIATION -ST BLECTaiC TELMR/PH—COPTMOHT.) LONDON, July 2. Sir Thomas Wilford, tendering a luncheon to the New Zealand Press Conference delegates, said he was sure they would benefit incalculably by the association and exchange of ideas with nien of world-wide experience in the hub of the Empire. He specially welcomed Mr L. P. Blundell (Wellington), saying that he was "one of those who had given the Press of New Zealand the good name it holds and ondoubtedly deserves in the United Kingdom." He was sure delegates must have been struck with Ihi high appreciation of New Zealand hero. Mr W R. Wilson (Auckland), responding, said the delegates had been treated right royally. They owed a great debt of gratitude to the leaders of the Press of Great Britain, who had done everything to make the visit enjoyable. Mr R. J. Gilmour (Invercargill, chairman of the delegation), proposing Sir Thomas Wilford's health, endorsed Mr Wilson's remarks. The delegates sang the Maori version of "He's a Jolly Good Fellow."
