Early this morning fire destroyed a four-rooined unoccupied cottage at i Upper Rewanui. It was owned by the State Mines Department. This was the first fire in the district for about two years. Dobson Domain. An inspection of the Dobson Domain jraa made by Messrs P. J. McLean (chairman) and T. A. Johnston (en«neer) of the Grcymouth Harbour Xbard yesterday for the purpose of considering a request by the Domain JhStril for a grant towards improving thff grounds.
