EXPLOSIVES SHIPPED FROM LYTTELTON.

The smull steamer Cygnet yesterday loaded 30 tons of explosives at Ripa Island for shipment to Mahanga Bay, Wellington. TTio shipment consisted wholly of big-gun shells, i some of which were ftpit brought by launch 4 from the magazine at Erskine Point, near Corsair Bay, and transhipped into the Cygnet at Kipa Island.
