GRAIN'STORE AT LYTTELTON.
TO THE SOROS' OF TEE PBESS. Sir,—l should like-to correct a wrong impression that may be. formed from my published.remarks made at the Harbour Board meeting yesterday. When speaking about the charges made for receiving and delivering farmers' produce, in relation to the matter of the leased store, I was not criticising the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Company's charges, because as a matter of fact I am not aware of them, but rather the Harbour Board's own charges at its grain stores. I think this explanation should be made in fairness ,to the N.Z. Loan and; Mercantile Agency Co., as my remarks 'have been misinteretc., W. J. WALTER, Member Lyttelt on Harbour Board. July 3rd, 1930.
