MATRICULATION.
ACCREDITING SYSTEM POSTPONED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGR.UI.) , ; WELLINGTON, July 3. At a meeting of tho Executive Committed of the New Zealand University, held last week, the following resolution was adopted with regard to the accrediting system, which has been suggested as a substitute for the matriculation examination: "It. is resolved, after consultation between the University and the Education Department, that tho accrediting system will not be introduced this year." A committee has been set up to investigate all problems connected with tho gcheme, including its recognition by other controlling and examining bodies.
