IMPERIAL COMMUNICATIONS.
REPORT OF COMPANY. (TOITBD PBXSS ASSOCIATION—BT EUSCTBIO TELEGRAPH —COPYBJOHT.) LONDON, July 2. Tlie report of Imperial International Communications states that reductions in rates for all classes of traffic already made are estimnted to involve an annual loss of £BO,OOO. The report adds that provisions made in the report of the Imperial Wireless Conference included the fixing of the standard net revenue at £1,850,000, any excess bevoncj which was to be allocated, up to 50 per cent., to reductions of rates. The present position was a complete reversal of that contemplated by the Conference, as reductions of rates have been, and are being, put into force in advance of receipt by the company of those surplus profits. Therefore, the company a&ked the advisory gommittee to allow the company to recover, later, the loss of revenue from these reductions from the aforementioned 50 per cent, excess when such excess was available.
