ACTION AGAINST CONGRESS. SENTENCES ON PROMINENT MEMBERS. (USITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—ST ELECTRIC TBLEOBAPH—COPraiOBT.) (Received July 2nd, 8.20 p.m.) DELHI, July 2. Tho Pundit Nehru and Dr. Mahmud were each sentenced to six months' simple* imprisonment on a charge ot being members of an unlawful assembly. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, another prominent Congressman, has been arested at Patna. The United Provinces Government has issued an order forbidding all banks at Lahore from making payments to those Congress Association* which have been declared to be illegal. TOUR OF M.C.C. TEAM POSTPONED. (Received July 2nd, 8.20 p.m.) DELHI, July 2. Tt has been announced that the proposed visit of the Marylebone cricket team for a tour of India has been definitely postponed.
