NEW OPERA HOUSE.
"THE GAMBLERS" ON SATURDAY.
On Saturday next, at the New Opera House, Sir Benjamin and Mr John Fuller present "The Gamblers," Warner Bros, and Vitaphone sensational all-talking photo-drama. It is said that this excellent production undoubtedly marks the most perfect attainment of the talking screen to date. Dialogue, each word vital and telling (a transcript of the words of Charles Klein, whose drama of tho same name was a great stage success), is recorded perfectly, and rendered perfectly by the players. The all-star cast includes H. B. Warner, Lois Wilson, Jason Robards, and other favourites of the screen and stage. "The Gamblers" holds tho audience spellbound from start to finish. It is dramatic, colourful, and suffused with tense emotion. The box plans are now open at The Bristol. A picture of a very high standard is showing at tho Now Opera _ House this week. "General Crack," in which John Barrymore is featured, is one of the best films of the talkie screen.
