GRAND THEATRE.

"MARQUIS PREFERRED."

Adolphe Menjou and Nora Lane are costamd in "Marquis Preferred" at the Grand Theatre next week, a French comedy in which Menjou does some of the best work of bis career. As an impoverished marquis out hunting for a rich American wife, Menjou mistakenly falls in love with the poor little secretary- of the family from the United States, and the complications which set in give the picture its atmosphere of -humour. . . ... . ~ The second attraction is Sunset Pass, from the story by Zane Grey, an exoiting drama of the West, in wliioh Jack Holt and Nora Lane have the leads. It is ' an excellent example of this type of screen entertainment. The eighth chapter of "The Mys•tery Rider" will be screened also, as well as an interesting programme of short subjects. ' The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where scats may be reserved.
