TRAM SERVICES.

REDUCTIONS IN FORCE ON MONDAY. The reduction of tramway services on certain routes, as decided upon at the meeting of the Tramway Board held on April 28th, will come into effect on Monday. To make the reduced services poosible new loops have been put in at South Crescent road, Colombo street North (between Dean street and Edgeware road) and Worcester street, Linwood. The Board believes that the reductions, as far as they affect the public, will not be very noticeable, but a saving of £2700 per annum in operating expenses will result. The routes affected bj the reduced services which come into force on Monday are: Cashmere Hills-St. Albans Park, Opawa-Fendalton, Lincoln road-Linwood-Dallington, St. Martins, and Riccarton.

On Sundays the first tram to Fendalton will leave Opawa at 10.30.a.m., and Cathedral square at 10.45 a.m.
