EMPIRE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE.
NEXT CONGRESS IN NEW ZEALAND. (UHITED PBBBS ABSOCUTIOir-BY ELBOrWO LONDON, May 28. The Empire Congress of Chambers of Commerce met to decide on a meeting place for 1933. Canada, Australia, the West Indies, and New Zealand extended official invitations, and after considerable discussion all the others withdrew m favour of New Zealand, which was then unanimously selected. The Congress resolved to call on cne Governments of the Empire to formulate an economic policy of closer cooperation, and appoint a commission, on which there should be business and economic experts, to draw up a scheme for 6uch co-operation.
