APPEAL FOR FUNDS FOR, ROWING CREW. The Canterbury Bowing Association's appeal for funds to send an eight-oar crew representative of the Dominion to the Empire Games-in Canada in August has already received substantial support. - • Canada offered £IOOO towards their oxpenses. This left £6OO as the aum to be raised; in New Zealand, of which Canterbury's share was fixed at &140. Of this,; £sß' 8s has already been raised.
