TESTS OF NO. 1 UNIT.

DROP IN DEMAND FOR POWER. The installation,of the apparatus for testing the flow of water*in the pipe Hues at the Lake Coleridge power eta- : tion has been completed. The results of the test \of the apparatus have been • quite satisfactory.' This will enable.the efficiency tests- of the No. 1 unit (750 D k.w.) to be carried out, but this will not be done till the end of the present' month.
