A message from Sioux City (Iowa) states that eighteen persons were killed by a tornado which swept the central western States, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, and Missouri. ( Many have been, made homeless, and much damage to faim property is reported. . Many calls for Telief have been received'from scores of small communities'where thfr wind did the greatest, damage. , . . .
