The Cresset Press aro bringing out almost immediately a new edition of Mr D. H. Lawrence's poems, "Birds, Beasts, and Flowers." Tho poet, before ho died, wrote a new preface to each of the nine parts, and there are to be ten full-page wood engravings by Mr Blair Hughes Stanton. There are to be"soo copies at three guineas; three at thirty guineas each are to include a separate print of each illustration signed by the artist; twentyseven fit nine guineas are to have an extra set of prints unsigned. The book is certain to be produced with austere distinction.
On Buffiel's Kop (Olive Sclireiner's Grave), by Eoy Campbell in the "New Statesman":
In after times when strength or courage fai, May X recall this lonely hour: the gloom Moving one way: all heaven in the pale Roaring: and high above the insulted tomb An eagle anchored on full spread of Bai * That from its wings let fall a silver plum .
