PARISHIONERS' MEETING.

ST. JAMES'S, SOUTHBRIDGE.

The Rev. J. A. Shardlow presided over the annual meeting of parishioner* of St. James's Church, Southbridge, held on Thursday avening. The resport of the wardens. Messrs A. J. Inwood and A. J. Beamslcy, stated that the new financial regulations had not eased tlie iesponsibihties of the parish. The year had ended with a small credit, due to the response made to the harvest appeal, which had realised £55. While the receipts from offertories and stipend were slightly less than during the previous year, the requirements were some £4O more. These observations applied solely to the general fund, all the special funds showing marked progress. Ihe remainder of the loan on the parish hall had been paid off The district fund showed a credit of £lO 7s Bd. The parochial board Jhad'assessed the amount required for the year at £76, the quota for each sub-district being: / Southbridge £42, Dunsandel £2l, Killinchy and Sedgemere £6. each.
