Assembly, who will also address the children in the afternoon, In the evening the choir is to render, the saered cantata, •;st Paul," by Mendelssohn, when the conductor will be Mr A, G. Thompson, choirmaster, Dr. T. It. Orooke will preside at the organ. ' The W.E.A. will again be favoured by Mr C. H. Hewlett, of the Canterbury S6ed Company, to-night, when another of his; free gramophone concerts will be given in the W.E.A. rooms at the (Trades Hall, Gloucester street. The conoerjia open to everyone interested in inusic. Mr J. de P. Manson, late of the Lower Biccarton Hotel, has acquired the lease* hold of the Eotherfleld Hotel, Cash el Street. Mr E. Russell, the present licensee, will give possession to Mr Manson at an early date. >
