The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Bartholomew's Church, Ka»apoi, was held in the schoolroom on Wednesday evening, the vicar, the Rev. C. L. Sparrow, presiding. The churchwarden's account showed a debit balance of £46 14s 3d. The Parochial Association was in credit to £32! Is Id, and the Sunday school 14s IGa. The vicar thanked all church workers for their loyal support during the past year, especially Mr A. Gordon for his work as churchwarden for the past eight years. He reported that the vicarage had been inspected by the diocesan inspector, who stated that it would cost two to three hundred pounds to put it in suitable repair, and it was a question whether it was wise to spend so much money on an old building or to erect a new one. LINCOLN. The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Stephen's Church, Lincoln, was Leld in the Pioneer Hall, on Wednesday evening, the vicar (the Rev. A. H. Achesen) presiding. The annual report referred to the very great loss the parish had incurred by the deaths of Lady Rhodes and Mr Edward Yarr. Great progress has been made in the Sunday School, which was in a flourishing conditidn. The balance-sheet showed income £173 15s Ud, debit balance £43 13s 4d, debit carried forward £23 la 6d, expenditure £193 7s 9d. Owing to the inclemency of the weather and also to counter-attractions, there was not a large attendance at the Memorial Hall on Tuesday evening when a concert was given by th© South Springston Amateur Dramatic Society in aid of the hall funds. At the conclusion of the performance Mr J. B. Fleete, chairman of the Hall Committee, thanked the visitors for the entertaining programme.
