The third case brought by Charles Justus Silver against defaulting purchasers of mandolin-guitars from the Natipnal Academy of Music under the hire purchase 'system adopted by the plaintiff was heard in the Magistrate's Court to-day, when Arthur Potter was sued for £2 6s 6d ; being balance due on the sale of an instrument. One of the terms of contract was that 20 free lessons should be given to the purchaser. The Magistrate held on the evidence that these lessons had not been given, and entered judgment for defendant.
