Golf. Tho Lyttelton Ladies' Golf Club will hold a medal match at Charteris Bay on Sunday. The Lyttelton Golf Club will play a medal match on Sunday at the Charteris Bay links. So far this season the Diamond Harbour Golf Club has not held any matches owing to alterations to tho course being in progress. The club hopes to commence matches on Saturday week. Harbour Light Theatre. "The Mysterious Dr. Fu Manchu," an all-talking drama of Oriental vengeance, starring Warner Oland, will be repeated at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night, together with an Overseas News and a comedy. To-morrow "Welcome Danger," Harold Lloyd's first all-talking comedy, will be screened at afternoon and evening sessions. Owing to tho length of programme, to-mor-row's evening session will commence at 7.40. Farewell Party. On Monday evening the candidates and associates of St. Saviour's Girls' Friendly Society met in the schoolroom to farewell their president, Mrs T. M. Curnow, who, with Mr Curnow and family, left Lyttelton on Wednesday to take up their residence at New Brighton. Miss Lewin, in presenting Mrs Curnow with a beautiful bouquet and set of fireirons, Baid they were not only losing their president, but a very dear friead. During the evening elocutionary items were .. contributed by Mrs C. Priddy. After a dainty supper had been served dancing was indulged in, and the singing of "Auid Lang Syne" brought a happy party to a close.
