PARISH MEETINGS.
♦ ST. BARNABAS', FBNDALTON. The vicar (ReT. f. B. Redgrave) presided over ail attendance of more than 100 parishionera at the annual meeting of St. Barnabas' on Wednesday evening. The attendance at the evening . services had largely increased whilst the numbers of the other services had been well maintained. On Eastet Day there were 427 communicants —a slightly larger number than in any previous year. The membership of the Mothers' Union had about doubted. Whilst the other organisations were in a healthy state. The holding of the two Sunday Schools in the morning, instead ot the afternoon, had resulted in an increased attendance. The children had given £34 to missions. ... .... t The church wardens' report stated that whereas the financial year had commenced With a deficit of £lOl, it had finished with a credit of £69. The new organ fund report showed that the organ had Cost £2398, and that it had been paid for. Mr T. H. Beckett was nominated by the vloar as his Warden, and Mr E. S. D. Commencing on May 11th the time of the evening; »ervica Will be altered to 6.80 p.m. The meeting decided to urge the Tfamway Board to make the second tram from the Square on Sunday mornings five minutes earlier So that it would reach the church before, instead of just after, the commencement of the li o'clock service.
