MATCH AT AKAROA. The final match for the Cricket Association Cup was ployed at Akaroa on Saturday, between the Akaroa and Little River Clubs. Akaroa batted first,, and Bcored 177 runs. Little River replied with 244, thus winning the match, and also the cup. The best batsmen for tho winners were R. Harrison 86 (retired) and C. Withers 77. Those scoring double figures for the losers were W.-B. Ramnay 35. E. Armstrong 33, T. Masefield 30, C. B. Arnold 26, F. C. Newton 14. SYDNEY CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY MOSMAN. Although there is more than one match to bo ployed, Mosraon wins the season's cricket championship, being nine points ahead of its nearest opponent, Gordon. T. J. Andrews, for Petersham, scored 118 yesterday against North Sydney, and his clubmate, Everett, 116. Andrews is now only 24 off the record set by W. Bardsley some years ago .for the greatest number of runs for one season. Other centuries scored yesterday were:—For University against Manly, Smith 144 and Hogg 112; for Mosman against Marrickville, Love 117 not oat; for Pnddington against St. Ge6rge, Wells 111. Bowling:—For Western Suburbs against Glcbo, Burt took seven for 51.
