C. fliivGnga, hopes to meet the balance of the deficit of £425,000 by rigid administrative economies. ' Wheat and flour duties are to be increased by 6d and Sd respectively, to African farmers to compete successfully against imports ft-om Aiis-
triJlia- fx. The revenue for the coining year is expected to total £29;425,0C0. Though mi immediate and heavy reduction in receipts from diamond sources is inevitable, the Minister anticipates an ekrly recovery as the result of the arangeihWit recently reached with the producers. ,
