ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS' SOCIETY.
ANNUAL MEETING. At the 17th annual meeting of the Christchurch Accountant Students' Society Mr G. H. Christie presided. In moving the adoption of the annual report and accounts, the chairman congratulated the members upon the satisfactory position of the Society. The accounts showed ifti excess of income over expenditure of £lB 12s 7d, and the accumulated fund had now reached the amount of £9B 15s ?d. The following officer* were eleoted: President, Mr H. A. 0. North; vice-presidents, Messrß W. E. Best, W. A. Smith, R. J, Mc* Laren, H. T. Whittingham, G. H. Christie, Ij. R. Bowbyes, and K. N. McGillivray; committee, Miss Sierakowski, Messrs J. K. Burtt, K, J. Blesson, J. H. Griffiths, J. Southward, F, C. D. Taylor, and W. Ij. Watson; hon. treasurer, Mr S. <J. Savage; hon. auditor, Mr Turner Smith; hon. reporter, Mr A. A. Bruce; hon. secretary, Mr T>. W. Woodward; assistant hon. secretary, Miss A. M. Nelson.
