COUNTY COUNCILS. OXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL. IN THE MATTER OF "THE COUNTIES ACT," 1908, AND "THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT. 1926." AND IN THE MATTER OF "THE TOWN HALL LOAN, 1929, £4000." NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 10 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926," of the intention of the Oxford County Council to obtain the consent of the ratepayers by means of a Poll to the raising of a Special Loan of £4OOO. (a) The Loan is required for the building of a new Town Hall. (b) The sum proposed to be borrowed for such purpose is £4OOO. (e) The proposed security for the repayment of the loan and for 'the payment of the interest thereon shall be a. Special Rate of l-15th of a penny in the £ sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all the rateable property in the County of Oxford. (d) The provision for repayment of the proposed loan is a Sinking Fund of one pound ten shillings (£1 10s) per centum per annum, calculated upon the amount of the loan and payable oat of the Special Rate mentioned in Clause (c) above. (e) The interest on the loan shall be at a rate not exceeding five pounds ten shillings (£5 10s) per centum per annum. (f) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan. (g) No portion of the interest and sinking fund shall be paid out of the loan moneys. (h) The term of the proposed loan shall be thirty years. Dated this 10th day of March, 1930.
