COURSING.

CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The sixth annual general meeting ot the Christchurch Coursing Club was held last evening, Mr J. W. Pox presiding. The annual report, which was adopted, stated that the sport was increasing in popularity in Christchurch. An outstanding fact was that, in the past season, tl® nominations had shown an increase ot over £SO on the previous year's figures. The thanks of the club were due to Mr G. Drinkwater for his services as judge throughout the season, and also to Mr E. G. Price, who, had acted as the club's delegate to the National Coursing Association. The standard of the coursing in the various events had been distinctly high, several of the dogs seen out at the meetings being well able to noia their own in any part of the Dominion. The outstanding competitor had been Mr w. J. Tomkinson's Realm, which in addition to winning the Waikuku Cup, had the excellent record of winning four stakes in sue-
