| OVER £15,000 OUTSTANDING. With the cheques that came to hand by the first mail yesterday morning the payment of 1929-30 City rates,; free from the 10 percent, imposition, was concluded. Of the total 90.54 per cent; of the total was collected, as compared with ; 95,.69 per' cent, in 1928-20. The levv for .192930 was greater than in tne previous; year and the total collected , was.larger,. but this year's collection, proportion-; ately, was less.
