There was a moderate turnover of stocks on call yesterday, and prices for the most part were firm. Transactions exclusive of vestibule business included

Australian Bank of Commerce shares moved uo to 25s 4d, market closing 25s 2d buvfers, 2os 5d sellers. Bank of Adelaide were stronger with, buyers at £7 3s 6d ; sellers at £7 Buyers of Commercial Bank of Sydney shares moved up to £2l ss, sellers at £2l 10s. A late sale of English, Scottish, and Australian Bank shares on 2oth instant was reported at to lis. and there were further buyers at £6 10s 6d. sellers at £6 12s 6d. National Bank of Australasia £5 paid shares were firm, with business at £7 6s 6d, and further buvers at that price, sellers at £7 7s 9d. Union Bank ot Australia claimed stronger buyers at £l2. sellers at £l2 3s. Goldsbrough Morts were fractionally weaker .with dealings at 32s and 3-<9 Id. closing quotations 32s Id buyers, 32s 3d sellers. New Zealand Guarantee Corporation shares cum dividend changed hands at 8s 4d and 8s 3d, closing quotations 8« 3d buyers. 8s 6d, sellers. Kaiapoi Woollen 7s paid shares realised 3s sd, market closing 3s 3d buyers. 3s 6d sellers. Grev Valley Collieries were steadv at 275 ; closing auo2d on either side._ Carlton Brewery shares were firmer with buvers at 37s 7d. sellers at 38s 2d.
