STUDENT CHRISTIAN MOVEMENT.
At a combined meeting of the men's and women's sections of the Canterbury College branch of the New Zealand Student Christian Movement, Mr J. Evans last night presided over an attendance of over thirty members. It was unanimously decided that in order to facilitate the working of the Society the two sections, men's and women's, should amalgamate, and an election of officers for the newly constituted branch resulted as follows: President, Mr J. Evans; vice-president. Miss B. Lorimer; secretary. Miss N. Clibborn; treasurer, Mr R. S. S. Meredith; com* mittee. Miss (3. Scotter, Miss P. Metson, and Mr D. Wilson, such officers to hold office until the aunual business meeting in August. A brief outline was given of proposed activities for the forthcoming year, including a camp to be held at the Riccarton racecourse from April 4th tiH April 7th.
