DRAMA AND COMEDY.

ADOLPHE MENJOU AGAIN. THE GRANE> THEATRE.' Everyone knows Adolphe Menjott as a Buave, sophisticated, and at times frivolous man of the world. In "A Night of Mystery," which started at the Grand Theatre yesterday, he displays all his well-known and popular characteristics, and in addition some tew ones, which will undoubtedly be welcomed by all who see him. Monsieur Adolphe Is called on to play a part in which, lor once, he falls seriously in love. The complication of an_ old love, and a mysterious murder, of which he Is the only witness places him in a very awkward position. A woman's honour, his own honour, and the life of a personal friend are at stake. Adolphe, always the gentleman, solves the problem with brilliant tact and resource in a manner entirely refreshing. The play is an adaptation from Victorien Sardou'B drama, "Captain Ferreol." The two female roles are charmingly played by Evelyn Brent and Nora Lane. "Two Flaming Youths" Is the second picture in which that inimitable pair, Chester Conklin, and W. 0. Fields, have fairly surpassed themselves. The picture is absoluto burlesque from start to finish, and as a circus proprietor and a country sheriff respectively these two actors are even funnier than usual. . ~ The sixth chapter of "A Final Reckoning is being screened, as well as some excellent short comedies and gazettes. The box plans are at The Bristol Piano Company, where seats may be reserved.
