* RELIGIOUS VALUE TO BE CONSIDERED. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION — BY BLFCTRiC TELI.GRAPH—CO PYRI GUT.) LONDON. February 13. Alleging the influence of broadcasted religious services to be superficial and ephemeral, tempting, people to remain in their homes instead of going to church. Canon Selwyn induced tne Ijower House of Convocation to adopt a resolution by 48 votes to 20 requesting the president to appoint a joint committee to consider the religious ralue of broadcasted services. Canon Selwyn ■ added that broadcasting was creating a type of passive worshipper.
