UNITED PIGEON FANCIERS' CLUB.
The United Pigeon Fanciers' Club held its first table show of the season on Wednesday evening. The president, Mr 0. P. Bradford, was In the chair. The classes were for juniors and any variety. Master N. Whitesides gained fir«t and second with a good black Jacobin and a pretty Ice, and Miss M. Whitesides third ' with a nice yellow magpie. The Jacobin wins the silver spoon presented by Mr A. T. Smith. Mr 0. Gallop made his debut as a judge. At a meeting held while judging was in progress, it was decided 'that the secretary, Mr F. Chambers, should write to the Dunedin Fanciers' Club suggesting that they put in their jubilee schedule four classes for white, clean-legged, self tumblers, and four classes for any other colour clean leg, and two classes for young muffed tumblers. The club also decided to support the Utility Poultry Club's young bird show, and four special prifeß, one each for the best self humbler, " A.O.V. tumbler, A.O.V. fancy pigeon, and one for junior fancy pigeons. The Greymouth Club's schedule being satisfactory, it was resolved to support the West Coast show with a good entry.
