The occasion was a notable one at St. Mary 8 Cathedral, Dr. Kelly being the celebrant of Pontifical High Mass. There was a distinguished gathering. The Government and the Civic Commissioners were represented, and the Apostolic Delegate, Archbishop Cattaneo, attended by his private secretary, was present. The attendance included a number of bishops and IoU priests. _ The sermon was preached by ur. Gleeson, Coadjutor Bishop of Maitland. He praised the. work of Dr. Kelly, who will shortly visit Rome.
