SKELETON IN A BOX.
DISCOVERY AT SOUTHAMPTON. (USTiTED PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) (Received February 13th, 7.55 p-m.) LONDON, February 12. Another bones mystery _is reported. The Southampton police discovered the greater part of a human skeleton in a rusty tyunk which had lain at a haulage contractor's yard for four years. Some of the bones were charred and there was also a quantity of whiting, lime, and scraps of rotted material. A thigh bone was fractured and there was a dark stain on the skull. It is too earlv to say whether it was a case of murder.
