DISMISSED P. AND T. OFFICERS.
HEARING OF APPEALS BEGINS. (raz&S ASSOCIATION TSLEOEAJt.) AUCKLAND. February 13. The Post and Telegraph Appeal Board to-day began hearing the appeals of six members of the Auckland Telegraph Office, who were dismissed following a departmental enquiry after the spring meeting of the Takapuna Jockey Club. Mr Cutten, S.M., is presiding He said that the Board had no power to admit the Press to its hearings, though counsel for the men urged publicity.
