The annual cricket match between Canterbury Woolbrokers and Buyers was played yesterday, the Brokers winning by a narrow margin of six runs. • Outstanding scores were made for the winning team by J. Butler 52, C. Featlierstone 51, and D. Gould 17, For the Buyers, R. E. Ferner made 49. Final scores were: Brokers 149, Buyers 143. In ft further match, Woolbuyers' No. 2 teaia lost to a Shipping Companies' team by 180 runs to 230. This was a good game. 1. • Glendining made 39 for the Buyers. COMBINED PRESS V. VETERANS.
