Beauty Doctor Advises Simple Way to Darken Grey Hair and Promote Its Growth.
Miss Alice W T hitney, a well-known beauty doctor, recently gave out the following statement: —"Anyone can prepare a simple mixture at home,, at very little coat, to darken grey hair, promote its growth, and make it soft and glossy. To seven (7) oz. of water add 1 oz. of bay rum, J oz. glycerine, and a small box of Orlex Compound. These ingredients can be bought at any chemist's at very little cost, and mixed at home to save unnecessary expense. Apply to the hair twice a week until the desired shade is obtained. This ought to make a grey-haired person look 20 years younger. It is also fine to promote the growth of the hair, and relieve itching and dandruff." ' 2
