N.Z. ACCOUNTANTS' AND AUDITORS' ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the Canterbury centre of the above association was held at Christcliurch on the 11th instant, at which Mr W. M. Tjers presided. The following nominations were made for the ensuing year:—Vice-presi-dent, Mr M. W. Woodfield; members of council, Messrs A. W. Bascand, W. T. Bottrell, G. H. Christie. J. HuKehins, W. M. Tyers, and F. H. Labatt (hon. secretary). Mr Bascand was appointed as delegate to the annual meeting to be held in Wellington on the 2oth instant. A _ resolution was passed by the meeting advocating the continuance of the association.
