SIR CHARLES STATHAM'S REJOINDER.
(HUBS ASSOCIATION TIMOBAU.) DUNEDIN, February 12. Questioned concerning a rumour of an attempt to form a new political Party with his name mentioned as the possible leader, Sir Charles Statham said: "I know nothing whatever about the new Party. While I am Speaker I cannot and will not take any hand in Party politics. I decline even to discuss tho question."
