CHRIST'S COLLEGE AND ATHLETICS.

TO THE KDXTOB 0» THB PRESS.

TO ™« Kuiiua \jw Sir, —Having been a very interested spectator of the athletic meeting at Lancaster Park yesterday, and in particular of Emton meeting some of the best athletes from the secondary schools here, I am at a loss to understand why there was no representative from Christ's College competing with the other secondary schoolboys. I presume that the Headmaster of Christ's College was asked to allow his boya to compete. Is it not an act of courtesy to give a visiting athlete the competition he would likef I recall the day when. Christ's College athletes were often seen at Lancaster Park taking part in the amateur championships, and 1 think it is high time that this old tradition was revived.—Yours, etc., OLD COLLEGIAN. February 11th, 1930.
