RUN INTO BY SOUTH EXPRESS. Twenfry-four of a flßck of 234 lambs, which ha<l jiist been purchased bv Mr A. Donaldson, Mitcham, at the "Ashburton stock saie, were kilied yesterday afternoon, when the second south express ran into them at the Salevards crossing wbieh is about a mile north or railway station. Thelambs commenced to run just before the crossing was reached, and all efforts to turn them, on the part bf the drover who was assisting Mr Dona,dß°"', we * e unavailing. The train * fl » delayed ohly a few minutes. Mr Donaldson will be a heavy loser
