The fourth Imperial Press Conference takes place in London from June Ist to 30th this year. The first Imperial Press Conference took place in London in 1909, the second in Canada in 1920, and the third in Australia in 1925. One hundred delegates representing the Press of the Dominions, India, and the Colonies will attend the conference, and will meet representatives of the whole of the Press of Great Britain. General arrangements for the conference are in the hands ot the Empire Press Union, which lias requested the co-operation of the British Newspaper Society, the Newspaper Proprietors' Association, and other interested bodies. It is necessary that a large central fund be raised, and the amount estimated in connexion with the conference is £30,000. Promises already received from London newspapers indicate that London will take a largo share of the responsibility of raising this sum. New Zealand will be represented by twelve delegates. They leave Auckland by the Aorangi on April 7th.
